Ingredients

  • 50g Cream cheese
  • 1tbsp Frozen peas
  • 50g Baby pasta shapes
  • A splash of whole milk
  • 5g Parmesan, grated

Method

  • STEP 1

    Cook the pasta in boiling water according to the packet instructions. Add the frozen peas three minutes before the end of the cooking time.

  • STEP 2

    Meanwhile, in a separate pan, melt the cream cheese, adding a dash of milk to thin if necessary.

  • STEP 3

    Drain the pasta and peas and add to the pan containing the sauce. Stir well to coat the pasta.

  • STEP 4

    Serve with grated parmesan or cheddar.

Tips
  • Can be served hot or cold.
  • Try using cream cheese as a basis for other sauces, for example adding chopped cooked mushrooms, chopped ham or cooked diced vegetables.
