Makes 4 portions.

Salmon and peas

Ingredients

  • 2tsp olive oil
  • 115g salmon fillet, rinsed
  • 4tbsp peas
  • 2 florets broccoli, finely chopped

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan over a medium heat. Cook the salmon, skin-side up, in the covered pan, for five minutes, then turn the fish over. Cook for a further 5 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Put the peas and chopped broccoli in a steamer and steam, covered, over boiling water for 10 minutes until soft.
  3. Remove the fish from the heat, take off the skin and roughly chop the salmon, checking with your fingers for bones.
  4. Mix with the peas and broccoli. Mash to the right consistency or for babies who are struggling with lumps, puree with some of the water used in the steaming.
