Summer berry puree
Suitable from 4 to 9 months. Makes four portions.
Ingredients
100g blueberry (fresh or frozen)
100g strawberry (fresh, frozen or tinned)
100g raspberry (fresh, frozen or tinned)
Method
Prepare the fruit. Wash and remove any stalks from fresh berries, drain tinned berries and defrost frozen berries according to the instructions on the packet.
Combine the berries and blend until you reach the required consistency. Pass the mixture through a fine sieve with a wooden spoon if you want to remove the small seeds.
Hints and tips
If you use defrosted frozen berries, do not refreeze.
If using tinned berries, choose those in juice rather than syrup.
