Investigators in the USA and Canada dismiss claims that Pampers with Dry Max can cause severe nappy rash
Following months of research into complaints in North America that Pampers new nappies with Dry Max caused babies to suffer from severe nappy rash, investigators have decided the nappies aren’t to blame.In America and Canada, 4,700 mums and dads filed complaints against Pampers, which led to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada to investigate the claims. In the UK, the TV programme Watchdog also conducted its own research. However, researchers found no specific links to prove the claims.“We hope that today’s announcement will reassure the millions of mums and dads and child givers who place their trust in Pampers every day,” said Pampers vice president Jodi Allen.
