Could your baby live to 100?
Definitely smarter than 100 individual candles...

A third of all babies born this year will live to celebrate their 100th birthday, according to projections by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

The ONS report What Are The Chances Of Surviving To Age 100? also suggests that more than 95,000 people aged 65 this year could celebrate their 100th birthday. That'll be in 2047, in case you're wondering.

Advancements in medical science, as well as environmental factors, are attributed with helping us get a step closer to receiving those Royal birthday wishes.

Interestingly, the projections suggest that females have a greater chance of hitting 100 than males at every age, reports the Telegraph.

Does the idea of reaching 100 excite you... or scare you?
