Babies can tell good people from bad ones

From the age of six months, babies can judge people's characters, distinguishing between 'good' and 'bad' people, new research suggests.

New guidelines on formula milk advertising

The government has announced new restrictions on how companies advertise formula milk for babies older than six months.

The guidelines have been drawn up in response to a new EU directive covering both the nutritional content of milk and how it is marketed. Breastfeeding up 30% in 5 years

The number of mothers who breastfeed their babies has grown by almost a third in the past five years

Recent mothers also expect to breastfeed for longer, between seven and 12 months, a survey by baby feeding brand Philips Avent found.
