Britain’s Got Talent judge gives premature congrats to female contestant – but is Simon Cowell to blame?
Amanda Holden is “so embarrassed” after congratulating a woman on her pregnancy when she wasn’t pregnant. Oops! Head honcho Simon Cowell, who returns to the judging panel for this season’s Britain’s Got Talent, reportedly fed Amanda info that the contestant was pregnant. “Naturally, I congratulated her and it turn out she wasn’t and it was one of Simon’s fibs. I was so embarrassed,” Amanda told the BGT website. Mum-of-two Amanda, who’s been with the show since 2007, said the birth of her daughter Hollie Rose will definitely affect her judging. “I’ve recently given birth, so audiences can expect plenty of waterworks and impassioned speeches from me!” explained Amanda, who’s already been spotted taking Hollie on stage.
