This Sunday is Mother’s Day in the USA, and Beyonce’s mum Tina Knowles is ‘excited’, reports Us Weekly magazine, about her daughter’s first Mother’s Day.
Former Destiny’s Child singer Beyonce and her hubby, rapper Jay-Z, welcomed their daughter Blue Ivy in January.
“[We’re] all going to be together,” Tina, 58, reportedly told Us Weekly. “We’re excited because it’s Beyonce’s first Mother’s Day.”
“I’m hoping to cook! I want to cook,” Tina apparently said at a New York charity event. “My traditional soul food and maybe gumbo. That’s my favourite dish!”
Proud mum and grandmother Tina also spoke about Beyonce’s stunning appearance at the Met Gala on Monday night. “I think she looked absolutely amazing,” said Tina.
