The V Festival was in full swing this weekend packed full of celebs from different walks of life – including a flock of young, celebrity mums such as Billie Piper, Holly Willoughby, Charlotte Church and Myleene Klass.
Doctor Who star and new mum to Winston, 10 months, Billie Piper, 26, was spotted rocking out at the festival in Chelmsford, Essex. Even though her son was out of sight, he certainly wasn’t out of mind.
“I didn’t really know what to expect when I was pregnant and hadn’t really thought what being a mother would be like. But my life has been enriched incredibly since Winston arrived in a way I never expected,” Billie shared with the Metro in a chat in the Virgin Media Louder lounge.
Another celeb yummy mummy who was doing the festival circuit was new GMTV presenter Holly Willoughby, 28.
Accompanied by her X-Factor co-presenter, Dermot O’Leary, the busy mum donned a pretty floral dress and her trademark wavy blonde locks. Clearly letting her hair down and leaving her clean-cut TV persona at home, Holly was spotted swigging beer in plastic cups and smoking.
Holly has had a busy few months after giving birth to son Harry in May, taking up a string of presenting jobs, including stepping into Fern Britton’s shoes as the new GMTV presenter.
Talking to OK! Magazine, Holly revealed the rapid changes in her life have only just sunk in. “When I look back I think, ‘Gosh, I’ve become a mum and have my dream job in the space of two months.’ It’s all a bit mad. I have to pinch myself a bit.”
Mum-of-two Charlotte Church was also spotted mingling between gigs from Lily Allen, Pendulum and The Killers.
Charlotte, 23, was sporting a slimed-down, post-baby figure at the festival. She was seen chatting to fellow celeb mum, Myleene Klass. Leaving her daughter Ruby, 18 months, and son Dextor, 7 months, at home, Charlotte was joined by her Rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson, also 23.
