After being spotted looking ready to pop in the last few weeks, BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox has given birth to her third baby - a little girl named Renee. Proudly showing off her little bundle of joy outside the hospital with her partner Ben Cyzer, 35-year-old Sara looked positively glowing after revealing her happy news hours before on Twitter.
“Hi y’all. We had a beautiful baby girl at 8:30am, she’s called Renee. So happy,” Sara tweeted on Friday. Little Renee joins her big sister Lola, 5, whose dad is Sara’s ex-husband Jon Carter, and older brother Isaac,2.
Another celeb who has welcomed a little girl into his life is actor Joseph Fiennes. The 39-year-old Brit star became a daddy for the first time after his wife Maria Dolores Dieguez gave birth to their daughter on March 8. The new parents have said they are ‘utterly thrilled” with their new arrival, although there is no news on the baby girl’s name yet!
More baby news was announced this week from Shopaholic series author Sophie Kinsella. The writer, whose real name is Madeleine Wickham shared her nappy news on her website. “This has been an amazingly busy year for me – and it’s about to get busier! Next month…I’ll be having a new baby!”
The 40-year-old Chick Lit star is already mum to sons Freddy, Hugo and Oscar with her husband Henry Wickham.
Elsewhere in LA, singer Jessica Simpson has revealed her desire to have babies – and her backup plan if she doesn’t find Mr.Right to have them with! “If I don’t have children by the time I’m 40, my gay best friend Ken Paves and I are going to have children,” the 29-year-old shared. Hairdresser and Stylist Ken is fully supportive of the idea as he added, “I’m trying to convince her to go for a baby before I turn 40!” No pressure then.
