Has Dannii Minogue’s pregnancy made sister Kylie broody? After announcing her joy of her sibling’s expectant news the 41-year-old popstar Kylie Minogue has announced that she too wants to start a family.
Currently dating Spanish model Andrea Velencoso, the singer is hoping they’ll be making babies of their own soon. “It won’t happen just yet but soon I hope, it would be lovely. I’ve got a new album coming out – I’ll have to get that out of the way first,” she revealed to the Mirror.
According to reports, another celeb is apparently planning on having a baby – Nicole Kidman. The 42-year-old actress and her husband Keith Urban have reportedly been working hard to have another child and have recently been spotted outside a fertility centre in LA, sparking rumours of a baby no.2 on the way.
“Nicole and Keith are both determined that their gorgeous little daughter Sunday Rose will have a sibling,” a source told the National Enquirer. “At her age, Nicole isn’t leaving family planning to chance. She needed help to get pregnant the last time around, she’s familiar with the routine.”
No confirmation has been made but the source added, “Nicole is exploring alternative options because she wants to be pregnant by her 43rd birthday in June.”
Baby rumour shocker of the week came in the form of the X Factor bachelor Simon Cowell. According to rumours, the harsh critic is engaged to his partner of 6 months, Mezhgan Hussainy, 36 and is feeling broody.
“I think I need to have little Simons around,” he allegedly admitted during an interview with his Britain’s Got Talent co-judge, Piers Morgan. However his ex-flame Sinitta is wary about his baby talk and thinks the anti-baby star will get jealous if he is second best to children! "I can't imagine it. I think that would be like a nightmare for him. Imagine the competition – lot’s of little Simons running around!" she told Live From Studio Five.
Elsewhere another celebrity has found himself in a ‘Who’s the Daddy’ scenario. Singer Beyonce’s dad Matthew Knowles is in the middle of a DNA and child maintenance battle with a woman who claims that her week-old baby boy is the result of their 18-month affair.
The married music producer, whose wife has since filed for divorce, is being chased by child support agencies who claim that he owes the mum, Alexsandra Wright, backdated payments. Although there hasn’t been any confirmation on whether Matthew is the daddy to baby Nixon, it is believed that he’s paid the woman a small amount of child support. A DNA test is scheduled in for March 1, according to TMZ.
