Dad-of-two Russell Crowe has announced he wants to stay in Australia for the next year to help his kids Charlie, 6, and Tennyson, 4, have a stable upbringing.
"I don't want to get on a plane again this year. I want to take a step back and put a normal rhythm back into the kids' lives," Russell told a press conference in Sydney.
Russell isn’t the only actor who’s doing something special for his children. Liev Schreiber, the star of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has tattooed his son’s names on his arms.
"I'm not really a tattoo person at all, but I had this dream that one day I would go to pick them up at college,” Liev told New York magazine.
“We'd get a flat tyre, and as I was changing the tyre, the sleeve would come up over my wrinkled skin and they would see their names tattooed on my arms and that would be a big deal to them. I thought it would just be a wonderful reminder of how much I love them." Hmm, tattoos on wrinkly skin are a good thing?!!
Anyway, while Russell and Liev were talking to the press about parenting, Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody was celebrating becoming a first time mum.
Diablo, 32 gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday, "We had our boy early this morning! Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7lbs, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed," Diablo tweeted.
The baby news doesn’t stop there either, as rumours are circulating that Orlando Bloom and new wife Miranda Kerr are soon to be joining the celebrity parent club, “She's preggos! I'm very excited. I'm happy for her. Love is in the air, and good for her,” Miranda’s friend Jessica White told OK! magazine.
"I think she and Orlando make a really beautiful couple and they've been together for a while, so I wish them all the best. And it's going to be a crazy-hot baby."
A staff member at the hotel Orlando and Miranda stayed in on their honeymoon also added to the rumours saying, "He kept apologising for Miranda being grumpy. He said she wasn't well as she was pregnant. They looked very much in love."
