Jack Tweed’s ex rushed to hospital as contractions begin two months before her due date
Big Brother star Chanelle Hayes has told Now magazine about her fears for her baby after she went into premature labour at around 32 weeks.
“I accidentally went into labour,” said the 22-year-old mum-to-be, “The doctors were quite worried.” She explained how she woke up bleeding and had to ask Jack Tweed’s mum to drive her to hospital.
“They kept me in for three days and had to wake me up every half hour to monitor the baby,” Chanelle said. She’s been diagnosed with anaemia and was given steroid injections because her baby’s lungs weren’t developing properly.
To combat her anaemia doctors have advised an iron-rich diet. “I have to eat a special diet with bananas and black pudding,” Chanelle explained. Lets hope she doesn’t try them both at the same time!
