WAG mum-of-two reveals the scary moment that saw her sob her heart out for her and Jamie O'Hara's premature baby Harry
Danielle Lloyd has described how discovering her premature baby Harry had pulled out his ventilator was the most terrifying moment of her life. Harry, who was born 10 weeks early, managed to wriggle free of his life support ventilator while being cared for in hospital. He was immediately reconnected after struggling to breathe.
“I went to see him in hospital one day to find that he’d pulled his ventilator out and his life support had switched off,” said Danielle, reports OK! magazine.
“His breathing was really heavy and there was no oxygen going to his brain and it could’ve caused brain damage. His skin was also discoloured and he was put back on the life support. It was the most terrifying moment of my life and I just sobbed my heart out,” the model said.
Danielle and fiancé Jamie O’Hara have been raising money for life-saving equipment for premature babies. They are anxiously waiting to the results of a brain scan to determine whether Harry has suffered any brain damage from his early birth and ventilator scare.
Danielle explained that Harry is expected to develop normally “but it will take him longer.”
“He’s on medication and vitamins every day so we just have to take each day as it comes,” she added.
