Dad-of-four David reveals his decision to stay playing football in America was down to Victoria and his children
David Beckham is just as overwhelmed with his daughter Harper’s designer outfits as we are! The soccer star has jokingly admitted he has extended his contract with LA Galaxy for another two years because he needs the money to pay for his 6-month-old girl’s designer wardrobe.
“Her wardrobe is ridiculous. I’m glad I got a two-year contract,” joked David.
David, 36, chatted with fans during a YouTube and Google+ interview last night. Despite Harper’s expensive taste, the proud dad couldn’t be happier being a dad to a baby girl.
“Everything about her is feminine, the way she easts, the way she moves, the way she looks. I love having a girl, but I’m glad she’s got three older brothers and a dad to look after her,” said David.
David, who is also dad to Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 9, and Cruz, 6, also explained how he put the happiness of his family first when he decided to stay in America.
“I didn’t take it lightly as I had offers from other clubs around the world and at 36 you don’t expect it. But it was best for my family,” stated David.
“We love living in LA at the moment, we love living in America and we have adapted to the culture and at the moment we didn’t want to leave,” David added.
