New mum DVO reveals she’s not taking any maternity leave as hubby Lee Mead plays stay-at-home daddy
Brand new mum, TV presenter and actress Denise Van Outen is shunning any maternity leave by heading straight back to work – two weeks after giving birth to daughter Betsy.
The 36-year-old revealed that she isn’t going to put her feet up but is continuing to work, leaving her husband Lee Mead to play his daddy role. “I am not taking time off. I am working – I worked two weeks after I had Betsy, so I have carried it all on,” Denise told the Daily Telegraph.
Lee, 28, is currently starring in the West End musical Wicked, which sees him at home all day to look after his daughter Betsy while Denise is able to work. “Our little girl is looked after by her parents most of the time which works out perfectly,” she reveals happily.
