George W. Bush's daughter gives birth to baby girl
It is a sign of modern times that former President, George W. Bush, took to Facebook this weekend to confirm the arrival of his first grandchild.
A bouncing baby girl was born to Bush's NBC News correspondent daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, and her husband, Henry on Saturday in New York City.
He wrote: "Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura 'Mila' Hager. Mila, daughter of Jenna and Henry Hager, is named for her grandmothers."
"Jenna and Mila are healthy. And all our family are elated," he continued.
It was a happy surprise that the former First Family welcomed a baby girl, as although Jenna had expressed her desire to have a daughter, she did not find out the sex prior to giving birth.

"I really love the relationship I have with my mother," she told People Magazine at her book-themed baby shower, "so to have a daughter would be special."
Given that her father, George, has already expressed his delight at the new arrival, it makes sense that he has been chatting about what he would like Mila to call him.
"My grandfather and my father's grandfather were both called Gampy, so maybe it will be Gampy," Jenna told People, "but my father did also say that he wanted to be called Jefe, which is Chief in Spanish."
