Halle Berry once lost her daughter while shopping

Halle Berry has revealed that she had a “little breakdown” when her daughter Nahla, 2, disappeared during a recent shopping trip,

“I took her shopping, and I had that moment that every parent has,” mum Halle told US Vogue magazine.

“You look away for a second and they’re gone, and your body just gets all hot. And so I had a little breakdown… I look around and, sure enough, 30 seconds later, she pokes her head out: ‘Hi, Mommy.’”

Halle then explained how she tried to teach Nahla what to do if she ever really got separated from her.

“It made me think: What if she really did get lost? Would she be able to say who she is? So that night, I said, ‘What’s your mommy’s name?’” explained Halle.

“And she looked at me like, ‘You idiot. Why are you asking me what your name is? I asked her again… she thought about it for a second, and finally she said, ‘Halle Blueberries!’”

This morning in the MFM office we’ve been wondering how we’d react if we met a lost girl and she said her mum was Halle Berry… do you think you’d believe her? Let us know…

It is very scary when we lose our children - even if it is only for a short time. Being famous must make it worse, as she'd be worried about kidnapping for ransom.
Can you imagine the announcemount in the shopping centre (for example) 'could Halle Berry please come to customer services.' There might be a lot of people show up, as well as her!

I had a lost little girl crying when I worked in a shop years ago. I din't really know what to say to her & asked what's your mums name & what does she look like. I got the answer 'Mummy, & she's beautiful. Poor girl. When the mum appeared she was mad with the girl for walking off. I'm lucky as it's not happened yet but I'm dreading it. There are too many wierd people around these days. Poor Halle Berry & her child. It must have been horrible. About 2 years ago

If anyone remembers the time the 2 men lifted Christine and tried to walk off with her -well that makes me keep my children with me all the time when we are out now, and if they do wander off for a few seconds  - i panic. About 2 years ago

its the scariest thing ever when it happens.  my wee girl went 'missing' at Drayton Manor last year, and i have never felt so terrified in my life.  my partner was running around the bit we were in, shouting on her and my oldest son was hysterical-he was so worried about her.  it could have only been a couple of minutes at the most, but the relief when we found her was overwhelming-she had walked of to wave at Percy's driver!!  Totally adamant that daddy knew where she was!  The thing that really worried me though, was that no-one actually asked us if we needed any help-what woulod have happened if she had been genuinely lost or worse?
