Oscar winning actress shows even celebrity mums can lose their child on a shopping trip.
Halle Berry has revealed that she had a “little breakdown” when her daughter Nahla, 2, disappeared during a recent shopping trip, “I took her shopping, and I had that moment that every parent has,” mum Halle told US Vogue magazine.“You look away for a second and they’re gone, and your body just gets all hot. And so I had a little breakdown… I look around and, sure enough, 30 seconds later, she pokes her head out: ‘Hi, Mommy.’”Halle then explained how she tried to teach Nahla what to do if she ever really got separated from her. “It made me think: What if she really did get lost? Would she be able to say who she is? So that night, I said, ‘What’s your mommy’s name?’” explained Halle.“And she looked at me like, ‘You idiot. Why are you asking me what your name is? I asked her again… she thought about it for a second, and finally she said, ‘Halle Blueberries!’”This morning in the MFM office we’ve been wondering how we’d react if we met a lost girl and she said her mum was Halle Berry… do you think you’d believe her?
