Jackiey Budden loses her baby at 10 weeks of pregnancy
Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden has lost her unborn baby 10 weeks into her pregnancy, she revealed yesterday in an emotional interview. Jackiey fell pregnant with her 45-year-old boyfriend, John Hickinbottom, last month at the age of 55. It would have been with her third child."I was shocked and scared [after finding out she was pregnant]. I was scared of what it would mean for a woman of my age to be pregnant. Straight away I rang John and he was over the moon," said Jackiey."The moment I realised the baby had died, I broke down in tears. It was so painful, both physically and mentally. It was just so awful," said Jackiey, reports the Daily Mail.Jackiey's baby would have been born around the third anniversary of her daughter Jade's death. "I thought Jade was bringing me a little girl from up there. It was like she was helping me from Heaven," said Jackiey. While Jackiey has admitted she wasn't a good mum to daughter Jade or son Brett, after finding out the news of her pregnancy she promised herself she would change."This time, I promised myself I would have been a really good mother. To have lost the chance is heartbreaking," revealed the mum-of-two."Jade would have been so happy. I thought she was looking down, I think it was a present from her. I'm a very spiritual person and I thought it was meant to be," said Jackiey.Jackiey is grandma to Jade's two boys, Bobby and Freddy, who are looked after by their dad, Jeff Brazier. Although Jade and Jeff split up in 2006, they always remained close and Jade gave him full custody of the boys in her will. "When you're a lot younger, maybe you are capable of dealing with things better because you don't know about grief," Jeff said, when asked how the boys were coping in an interview at the time.
