Cricketer’s wife is due mid-way through the Ashes tour in Australia
Cricket star James Anderson is gearing up to dash from the Ashes in Australia back to the UK to be be his wife’s side as she goes into labour.
James’ wife is due on the 8th December, a day after the second Test could finish in Oz. If England do play for the full five days of this test match, James should make it back to the UK just in time for the birth, providing wife Daniella welcomes baby number two on her due date and not before.
Already a dad to Lola Rose, James is confident he will make the birth, despite the tight turnaround, the time delay and the tiring few weeks he faces playing the Ashes.
Well, good practice for being knackered with two little ones at home then, eh?
