The daredevil model says the rush of motherhood beats each and every one of her extreme sporting activities
New mum Jodie Kidd has revealed that even after parachuting from helicoptors, participating in a high-speed Gumball 3000 car rally and bungee jumping in New Zealand, there's no other thrill quite like motherhood.
"It's the most awesome, scary, brilliant, exhilarating experience I've ever had in my entire life," Jodie told Hello magazine.
The model, 33, gave birth to son Indio four weeks ago and explained how she and partner Andrea Vanini, who also has a 7-year-old son from a previous relationship, had a mad dash to hospital when her waters broke a week before she was due to have a scheduled caesarean.
"My contractions were coming quite fast. I had one long one on the Westway and thought I was very close to having the baby in the car," Jodie explained.
Jodie also joked that she had been unprepared for how full-on the first weeks of being a new mum would be.
"You're not prepared for that - it's a huge learning curve, just getting to know your baby," she said.
