A paternity test, requested by Jude Law, 36, has proved that the actor is indeed the daddy to baby Sophia.
Samantha Burke, 24, was 100% sure that Jude was the dad to her 3- week-old daughter, and the DNA tests have proved her correct, according to Contact Music.
After the results, Samantha’s spokesperson told of her relief that the truth was out. "She never had any doubt about the results, but is obviously relieved. She knows some people were questioning her,” a representative told the News of The World.
Jude’s lawyers are reportedly arranging secret meetings for him to meet his daughter.
The Sherlock Holmes actor isn’t the first high-profile dad who has been involved in a Jeremy Kyle style DNA showdown. Former Spice Girl Mel B was forced to take a paternity test by actor Eddie Murphy after their brief affair resulted in her daughter Angel Iris being conceived. The actor denied the baby was his but was caught out after DNA tests revealed he was the daddy.
Liz Hurley and son Damian were also involved in DNA demands. After her relationship with millionaire Steve Bing ended in 2002, Liz announced she was pregnant. Steve cast doubt on whether he was the biological dad by saying their relationship wasn’t “exclusive”. DNA tests later revealed that he was the daddy to Damian, now 7.
