Actor wants DNA test before meeting new daughter
When the news of Jude Law becoming a dad for the fourth time broke, the actor publicly vowed that he would be ‘a fully supportive part of the child’s life.’ However, one week after Sophia was born, Jude is taking a step back.
Jude, 36, has decided to have a DNA test until he officially meets Sophia, according to Contact Music. “Jude is still very cautious about Samantha Burke and Sophia. Until he is 100% certain that she is his daughter, he is only communicating through lawyers,” a source has said. “If he is the father, he will meet his obligations to the child. He’s hoping for an early chance to establish that he is genuinely her dad.”
Jude Law met aspiring actress, Samantha Burke, 24, whilst filming Sherlock Holmes in New York. After their brief fling, Samantha revealed she was pregnant with Jude’s fourth child.
Since the announcement, the 24-year-old revealed her everyday thoughts on her pregnancy in her candid blog. There are also rumours that she is in negotiations on the price of the first baby pictures.
