Kate Hudson says pregnancy brain is like being stoned
Actress thinks she and Matt Bellamy are having a baby girl after doing superstitious pendulum test
After the rumours surrounding her second pregnancy, Kate Hudson is now well and truly blooming. The actress is now 7 months pregnant, with, she believes, a baby girl, with her partner Matt Bellamy.
While Kate revealed that she loves being pregnant, she compares her pregnancy with being stoned.
“Being pregnant is wonderful. You get into your own little bubble…it’s like a little love bubble. You do get the pregnant mush-brain…it’s like getting stoned,” Kate, 31, told Extra.
Already a mum to 7-year-old Ryder, from her marriage to Chris Robinson, Kate reveals why she thinks she and partner Matt are having a girl.
“So here’s the pendulum test. You take a piece of hair and a ring, and you string it through. Then you hold it over your stomach, and if it moves in a circle it’s a girl and a boy goes back and forth,” Kate said as she demonstrated the test on Entertainment Tonight, showing the ring moving in a circle.

“How crazy is that? I’ve had no dreams I’m having a girl. And with Ryder it was back and forth,” said Kate.
