No pet pooch for Suri Cruise after Katie says no
Katie Holmes might be going through a high-profile divorce, but this week she came up against a 6-year-old’s plea for a puppy – we’re not sure which is more demanding! Suri was apparently quite taken with a black and white Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese mix puppy. But amid an onslaught of puppy dog eyes, tears and sulking from Suri, Katie appeared to stick to her decision and the pair left the New York store with no pet in tow, reports the Daily Mail. Hats off to Katie for not giving into daughter Suri, who, at 6-years-old and coping with her parents’ divorce, no doubt seems the ideal candidate for a bit of spoiling. Then again, Katie’s well-versed in a Suri-style tantrum. More details for Katie and Tom’s divorce settlement have emerged, with TMZ reporting Tom will pay £10 million in child support for Suri over the next 12 years.
