Top England cricketer Kevin Pietersen arrived home from the Caribbean today just hours before his wife, Jessica Taylor, gave birth to their son.
Delighted to announce the birth of their first child, the couple said, “The baby was born this morning without complication and both baby and Jessica are doing brilliantly.”
Fresh from a match-winning batting form against South Africa, he described the birth of his son as '...the most amazing experience of my life.'
KP dashed home from the Twenty 20 world cup where the England cricket team are about to take on New Zealand. But the meeting with his new son may be short lived if England beat the kiwis, as he plans to return to pick up the bat for the semi finals.
