After giving birth to a baby girl earlier this week, Kimberly Stewart and the baby's dad, Benecio Del Toro, have kept the name to themselves.

What they didn't bargain for however, was proud grandfather Rod Stewart singing their new arrival's praises during an interview with USA Today. Rod sang the song "Delilah" and indicated it was the name chosen by the new parents, reports the Daily Mail.

"I'm a grandfather now. I've been going around blabbing that for hours now. It's wonderful," the 66-year-old said.

Delilah weighed in at a healthy 8lb 9oz and was 22 inches long. Benecio del Toro was present at her birth, even though he is no longer in a relationship with Kimberly.

Kimberly's mum Alana Collins, Rod's first wife, was also present along with Rod's two other wives, Rachel Hunter and Penny Lancaster. Rod himself became a dad for the eighth time last year with third wife Penny.
