Kylie Minogue has revealed she would love to start a family, but isn’t sure if she is able to have babies. The 42-year-old singer has admitted to feeling even more broody since her sister Dannii got pregnant.
“I’d love to have babies, but it’s very hard,” said the singer, who is dating model Andres Velencoso. “Perhaps if you are resolutely sure that it’s not the path you want to go down, that’s OK. But if there’s an element of doubt, you can’t help but question it. It’s not fun.”
The singer has been on a mixture of drugs since battling breast cancer in 2005. “I still take medication and there are a lot of women who stop taking the medication because they just can’t stand the side effects,” she revealed. “You definitely put on weight. Before I could just eat anything. But I’m here and that’s what I have to remember when I start to get down about it. I have a year until I get my five-year all clear.”
The former Neighbours star also admitted it was a surprise when her non-broody sister revealed she was having a baby, which is due next month. “Life’s funny isn’t it? She’s just blossomed.”
