Mel B names her daughter
Ex Spice Girl Mel B has finally decided on a name for her new daughter – say hello to Madison Brown Belafonte
Scary Spice Mel B and hubby Stephen Belafonte have finally settled on a name for their new daughter, almost a week after the birth at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles. They've called their first child together Madison Brown Belafonte.
Mel tweeted that her eldest daughter, Phoenix Chi, 12, was putting pressure on her to pick a name for the new baby, but Mel and Stephen took their time, with Radar Online revealing the news today.
Mel had asked Twitter followers what their name suggestions were, contemplating names such as Sunny and Honor, but in the end Madison was chosen.
The Brown-Belafontes have three children between them from previous relationships - Phoenix, from Mel’s first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar; Angel, 4, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy; and Stephen’s 6-year-old daughter, Gisele.
Looks like Stephen is clearly outnumbered!
