Oscar-winning actress Natalie reveals she’s ditched the T-shirts and jogging bottoms since becoming a mum
Mum-of-one Natalie Portman has upped her style game since becoming mum to son Aleph.
“I’ve been trying to look more like a lady recently,” Natalie told Women’s Wear Daily (WWD). “I used to be happy in a T-shirt and sweatpants, and now I feel like I want to make myself a little more grown-up – now that I’m a mom,” she added.
Seems like the Black Swan actress is doing things in reverse – hands up whose relying on trackpants more since birth?
Before becoming mum to 10-month-old Aleph, Nat, 30, was frequently papped sporting leggings and trainers, but post-baby it’s a far more elegant affair for the face of Miss Dior perfume.
But style icon Nat is also a fan of buying vintage clothes. “I feel like you are sort of stepping into history," she said. "It's really amazing to get the story of where a dress has been; you know that it has lived through many people's stories."
Natalie, who gave birth to her first child with husband Benjamin Millepied in June last year, explained that her grandmother is her style inspiration. “My grandmother will not leave the house without perfect hair and perfect makeup and her splash of perfume,” said Natalie.
