Stripping off in front of hundreds is a dreaded thought for anyone – but not Jennifer Ellison, who just four short weeks after giving birth, has shed her clothes and posed in the buff for her new role in the Calendar Girls show.

Using her glamour girl training, 26-year-old Jen strikes a naked pose propped up on a piano showing off her curvy post-baby bod. Looking glowing and happy, the former Brookside actress seems to have trimmed right down despite putting on weight during pregnancy and looking fit to burst only a few weeks ago.

Stepping into the shoes of fellow glamour girl Kelly Brook, Jennifer is due to start her stint at the Liverpool Empire Theatre in September. Delighted at the prospect of getting back to work after welcoming her baby boy Bobby, new mum Jen couldn’t be happier. “I’ll be doing eight weeks in the show which is perfect. Rob and the baby are going to come with me, so I’m really lucky in that sense,” she revealed. “I need to start work. Not for money, but for myself, my sanity," she admits.

Jennifer will be joined by fellow actresses Jean Boht, Ruth Madoc and Denise Black.

Brilliant. Just what 'normal' mummies need - another celebrity looking 'perfect' with an airbrush straight after birth. When are they going to give us a break?????
