Wild child turned mummy style icon Nicole Richie has revealed that becoming a mum hasn’t affected her fashion sense. The 28-year-old boho style maven is still rocking her laid-back LA look despite toting two young children around with her.
“Becoming a mother hasn’t changed my style. I’ve always been one to dress for comfort. My staples are a good pair of opaque black tights, so you can wear your summer dresses in the winter,” she shared with The Times.
Nicole, who is mum to daughter Harlow, 2, and 6-month-old son Sparrow with fiancé Joel Madden, is definitely one to take style tips from, with her design credentials including a sell-out maternity clothing range for A Pea in a Pod, a jewellery collection as well her upcoming fashion line, Winter Kate.
“Bed jackets are really important to me, because I can just throw a different one on everyday and it’s a completely new outfit. And in terms of footwear, I am 5ft 1in so I do enjoy wearing heels a lot.”
