Pregnant Celine Dion is happy to be feeling sick
Titanic singer reveals how morning sickness can feel good
Celine Dion has confessed that she’s finding her morning sickness reassuring after trying for so many years to get pregnant for a second time.
“The first two months I really felt the symptoms, the morning sickness, hot flushes, nausea,” the 42-year-old told French magazine Paris Match.
“In a certain way, that reassured me, like a sign that my pregnancy was progressing. Now, everything is falling into place. I have a little belly and have gained 10lbs,” added the singer, who had her first son, René-Charles 9 years ago.
Celine and her 68-year-old hubby René have been through a long emotional rollercoaster trying for a second child. Five IVF attempts sadly ended in failure. The couple had decided that the sixth round of IVF would be their last – and Celine ended up pregnant with twins!
Celine is currently keeping busy finalising the building of an amazing waterpark in the grounds of her and René’s $20-million dollar Florida mansion. There are two water slides, a lazy river with a current to swoosh swimmers round and a couple of pools, all on the beachfront.

But despite their home having numerous bedrooms, they’re planning to have the twins sleep in their bedroom with them for the first year. “We’ll keep them near us, too, because we have a big bed.”
Celine is clearly revelling in motherhood, looking forward to the next scan when she may find out the sex of the babies. “My only task is to make my children happy,” she enthuses. “And too bad if the house sometimes becomes a mess.”
Hear hear. If a bit of mess is good enough for Celine and her mansion – it’s good enough for us! Then again, she probably has an army of cleaners…
