Dido, 39, has revealed that she and her husband Rohan are expecting their first baby.
In a message to fans on her official website, the singer, who's best known for her collaboration with Eminem, wrote, “It’s been a month of amazing news for me and now I have some more to share. Me and my husband are expecting a baby and we are beyond happy and excited about it.”
Speaking to the Associated Press, Dido admitted that she didn’t know the sex of the baby, but she wasn’t going to wait to find out. She said, I’m too curious, it’s enough of a surprise on the day!”
The singer-songwriter also said that she was enjoying being pregnant, “There’s a real calmness about it which I think is really nice. You have this priority that is unchangeable and I think that’s a great calmness that comes from it.”
The baby is due this summer.
