Jessica Simpson has finally chosen comfort over style and hit the beach in a pair of flip-flops!
Jess tweeted a pic of herself at the beach yesterday, showing off her pregnancy curves in a floor-sweeping maxi dress and grey cardigan – and flip-flops!
The 31-year-old singer and reality star has ditched her statement heels in favour of some far more sensible flats, as her ever-growing bump becomes even harder to handle.
Clearly enjoying the beautiful California weather, Jess tweeted, “We are loving Laguna…and yes, I’m wearing flip flops!”
And it looks like she’s still using her pregnancy as an excuse to chow down on carbs. Earlier in the day, she was spotted munching on a hearty bagel with fiancé Eric Johnson. Jess has spoken out about her pregnancy cravings and has admitted to indulging in calorie-laden treats.
Unlike some expectant mothers, Jess says she is not too concerned about watching what she eats and is happily giving into her cravings.
Speaking to Extra in January she said, “I’m like, I can do it. We’ll worry about the rest afterwards.”
Even so, Jess has given herself a rather unbecoming nickname, ‘the blob’, and has said she can’t wait to see herself with a waistline again!
We’re glad Jess has finally opted for comfortable footwear – and with no compromise on the style front she’s looking fab!
