Model gives birth to baby girl in Spain with sister by her side
Monica Cruz has given birth to her first child, with her pregnant sister Penelope acting as birth partner.
Model Monica, who earlier this year spoke of her decision to have a baby through an anonymous sperm donor, gave birth to a baby girl in Madrid yesterday.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper El Pais, Monica revealed, "So I have decided to tell all. To become pregnant, I turned to artificial insemination. I want to tell also so I can have the opportunity to show my thanks to all those anonymous men that give many women like me, the dream of their lives."
Penelope, mother to two-year-old Leo and pregnant with her second child by Javier Bardem, was present at the hospital along with the girls’ mum and brother Eduardo.
No word yet on what the newest Cruz lady is called, but with those genes we suspect she’ll be nothing short of a stunning senorita!
