Shilpa Shetty welcomes new "Baby K"
Celebrity Big Brother star gives birth to a son
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, 36, had a baby boy this morning in a hospital in Mumbai.
Shilpa’s ecstatic entrepreneur husband Raj Kundra, with whom Shetty owns a team in the hugely successful Indian Premier League (IPL), went on to Twitter to spread the good news. “Thank you all for your love and wishes for our new born. Both mum and Baby K are resting.”
Raj also tweeted, “A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever.”
Shilpa has acted in nearly 40 Bollywood films, and the actress is probably also known for the racism controversy that shadowed her appearance in the Big Brother house in 2007.
Shetty and Raj were married in 2009. Their IPL team,Rajasthan Royals, failed to make it to the top four this season.
