You'd think that the Mitchell family have had their fair share of drama in the recent past - with a murder, miscarriage, reposession and infidelity to name a few.
However, it seems 2010 isn't set to be any kinder to the EastEnders family, as a long-lost brother turns up at Archie Mitchell's funeral - claiming the murdered hardman is his dad!
Revealing his secret as he arrives at Archie's burial saying, "You just buried my dad," the 24-year-old handsome sibling to Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell looks nothing like his bald headed family members, Phil and Grant!
Newcomer Danny Mitchell (played by Liam Bergin) is the son of Archie's ex-wife Glenda, who fled from the scheming pensioner when she discovered she was pregnant. Archie knew nothing of Danny's existence when he died on Christmas day.
With Archie, the new owner of the Queen Victoria pub dead, the big question is who'll get their hands on the pub now? With Danny Mitchell on the scene, will he inherit the infamous pub? Or will he have a fight on his hands from his auntie Peggy, evil Janine Butcher or the Mitchell brothers, Phil and Grant?
