Former X Factor star Stacey Solomon has revealed she won’t tie the knot with fiancé Aaron Barnham until she’s lost her baby weight.
The 22-year-old, who is due to give birth in April, admitted she’s postponed the big day until 2013 after having gone from a size 8 to 12. Um is it us or does size 12 still sound pretty average?!
“I don’t want to get married now. I won’t be my best and as skinny as I want to be,” said Stacey, reports New! magazine.
“I think I have [gained weight] but everyone keeps giving me that line ‘oh, you look so small.” I’m like, “No, I look huge!’”
The singer, who is already mum to 3-year-old son Zac from a previous relationship, opened up about finding the changes to her body hard.
“As soon as I find out I’m pregnant, my hips always widen,” said Stacey.
“The novelty wears off after a few months. I can’t wait to be a normal size again – and eat prawns.”
The I’m a Celebrity winner even revealed that she hopes to be back to work within six to eight weeks of giving birth, but won’t be rushing to shed the baby weight.
“I’m not one of these people who believed in leaving the hospital and being a size zero because I won’t,” said Stacey.
Stacey became engaged to Aaron, 24, after he proposed during a romantic horse and carriage ride in New York. Aww!
