Second baby daughter for former Eastenders star Tamzin
Actress Tamzin Outhwaite gave birth to a baby daughter yesterday and has named her Marnie Mae Ellis.
Tamzin and husband Tom Ellis, also a former Eastenders actor, married in 2006. Their first daughter, Florence, was born in 2008.
Tom immediately went on to Twitter to announce the news and posted a pic of a tiny Olympic romper suit, complete with gold medal.
“Love this present for our golden girl #olympicbaby,” Tom wrote.
“What a couple of days...Gold medals from everywhere and...oh we had a beautiful baby girl called Marnie Mae Ellis 6lb 5oz of gorgeousness!” he wrote.
Tom told a friend on Twitter today that he was a bit busy with the new baby to get to the Olympics, but was watching at home.
"Would love to but hands a bit full with the new arrival! Watching from the sofa at home will suffice though," Tom wrote.
