Eureka! The National Children’s Museum
Located in Halifax, West Yorkshire Eureka! boasts more than 400 interactive exhibits for children aged 0-11 years. These include Living & Working Together, Me and My Body, SoundGarden and SoundSpace.
National Waterfront Museum
Located in Cardiff, Techniquest is a fully interactive science museum offering children of all ages the chance to discover how things work. Exhibits include race an electric car, launch a hot air balloon and watch a bubble race, to name just a few.
National Space Centre
Based two miles from Leicester city centre, the National Space Centre invites visitors to embark on an out-of-this world experience. The centre features six hands-on galleries, the UK’s largest planetarium and over 150 interactive displays, including the chance to travel through three floors in a glass lift in the 42m high Rocket Tower.
British Museum
Featuring over 2 million years of history, the British Museum, located in Holborn, Central London is one of the most fascinating museums in the UK. Free family activities happen throughout the year, there are family trails and free activity backpacks, plus object handling sessions.
