Sally Windsor, 32, and James Day, took daughter Ruby, 2 and a half, to Drusillas Park in East Sussex.
“Drusillas Park is a zoo plus so much more. With endless activities for all, we weren’t disappointed. The Go Bananas play area was one of the best around, with boat swings, climbing nets and even a child-sized hamster wheel. Ruby adored her ride in the Thomas the Tank Engine, and the meerkat tunnel, where she and dad popped up like their furry friends in the middle of the sanctuary. There was also a working farm. Vast picnic areas made for a peaceful rest and there are plenty of reasonably priced cafés and snack bars too.”
