How do I change my neighbourhood?

You’ve been allocated to a neighbourhood based on the postcode you registered with.

To change your neighbourhood, just go to your My Settings page, and do one of two things:

• Best: Open the Personal Settings section, and update your address, with a new postcode. This will allocate you to a new neighbourhood, and the site will be able to correctly show listings by distance from your home.

• Next best:  Just use the ‘neighbourhood’ drop-down list near the top of you’re my Settings page, under My Public Profile.  (This might be best if you’re just changing temporarily)

To get to My Settings, you need to be logged in. Either:

• Click your name at the top right –hand corner of the screen, and choose My Settings from the menu that drops down; or
• Click the green ‘My Profile’ tab on the far-right of the main navigation bar, the choose My Settings from the sub-menu
• Or click here!

Finally, you can also change your neighbourhood if you’re looking at a listing from another neighbourhood. Just click ‘Make this my neighbourhood’ next to the page’s big pink title
