River Island is about to launch its stylish, chic and trend-focused maternity collection, which looks so good you’ll want to snap it up even if you aren’t pregnant!
Gone are the days of shapeless smocks in drab colours and tacky t-shirts with ‘Bun in the oven’ motifs.
It seems ‘fashionistas’ are so last season and it’s all about the ‘preganista,’ if this collection is anything to go by.
The maternity range embraces your changing body, rocking easy-to-wear silhouettes in the form of achingly trendy separates and punk chic inspired embellishments.
Dress your bump with attitude with sequin harem pants, wet-look leggings (which come complete with secret, elasticated panels), sateen jumpsuits and shift dresses with dart detailing around the bump, oozing ‘preganista’ cool.
Stylish cover-ups include hot pink coats and luxe leopard faux fur gilets. And let’s not forget the River denim maternity jeans and distressed hobnail boots to finish off the look.
