Donatella Versace joins the growing list of luxury fashion brands to jump on the baby bandwagon
Hot on the heels of Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney’s children’s fashion debuts, plus Missoni’s Bugaboo collaboration, another high-end fashion designer has revealed plans to branch into the mini-me market – Donatella Versace.
Famously known for its vibrant women's collections, Versace has announced its plans to launch a children’s clothing range, the first since its original junior range, Versace Young, closed in 2004.
“This is a high-end, glamorous and colourful collection in line with the brand’s essence, with a touch of rock ‘n’ roll,” Versace’s CEO Gian Giacomo Ferarris has said. The collection is due to launch in Spring 2012.
How long do you think it’ll be until pint-sized fashionista Suri Cruise gets her hands on this new collection?!
