Oh what a wonderful topic!!!!
Although Bronwyn isn't quite a toddler, we need help to get her to stay asleep past 5am!
George wakes every morning at 6:30 without fail, thsi morning it was 5:30.
I usually try and go in just as i hear him waking, pop his dum in and say shhhh night nights. Sometimes it works and i get an extra 30 mins or so but most of the time he just wants to get up!.
Both of my children have got blackout blinds up so its not really "light" in their room.
With Lydia its alittle better i tell her she can get up when daddy gets up for work which is at 7:15, usually she sleeps in til about 8!
Rileys a 6:30am waker with daddy getting up for work, his up when the alarm goes off.
On a sat or sunday his up at the same time no matter what, even without the alarm,i tell him its not quite time to get up as the alarm has not gone off, sometimes he will be happy to go back to bed(only now tho)and others he will just stay in his room and play. Has taken quite some time to get this going tho.
