We've been noticing that loads of celebs are announcing their baby's name before their child's even been born. And it's made us wonder if this is a bit of a new pregnancy trend?
So, we'd like to ask you lot!
Have you told/will you tell everyone your babyname choice before your baby's born? Or will you/did you keep it a secret till after the birth?
Please come and tell us how you're going to play it by adding a reply to this thread. We'd love to know!

My son was named after his grandfather and it was something I knew my husband was keen of before I found out I had a son. It was interesting to tell my friends as my husband's name has his fathers and my son's name has my husband's name so in the end my son's name is my husband's name shuffled

With my first we told a few people because of people putting us off the names we had chosen when we settled on Jack we only told a few.
With my second every name we came up with someone had an opinion which put me off every name so when we settled on Wyatt we didn't tell anyone until he was born something i wish we had done with our first.

We never told our daughters name to anyone. Even closes friends knee nothing about it. Part of the reason is that at the same time 3 of my friends were pregnant as well and we all were having baby girls lol. Name was kept secret from friends and relatives until she arrived and we announced name just after birh. We loved name and we didn't wanted to have any comments about it and there is no one I would know with this name around us. It's Sophie

I think it should be kept a mystery, everyone knows everything your lives these days with Facebook and Twitter, so keeping something back keeps some of the mystery alive. I never told anyone anything about my names.

i waited because it has happened someone would like your name choice and end up naming their child that and you could not do anything about it lol

We had a few names picked out for our little boy and people had an idea of what those were but we weren't 100% sure ourselves until we had him. His name is Hunter so I'm sure people would have had mixed opinions about that!

We kept it quiet until she was born as we didnt want to hear people opinions on our chosen name x
