I'm going to college in 2 weeks for 2 days a week to do an access to higher education course but having problems with bottle feeding!!
My daughter is 5 months old and currently breast fed. We've finally got over the hurdle of her not liking the bottle but now she wont take powdered formula!! I've bough Hipp organic milk in powder form which she just refuses to drink. I've bought others in ready made packets and she will take Aptamil but they only do them in small cartons and they're 56p for about one feed!! I dont want to spend £8 on another box for her to just turn down!!

If she's taking breast milk from a bottle wean her on to the formula graually. If it's an 8 oz bottle for example,do 7 oz breast milk, just one of formula. The difference in taste isn't so obvious.Next day do 6 oz breast milk,2oz formula.Go on like that till you have all formula.I've always done that changing their milk,it introduces it without them noticing the change.Sometimes I've had to give it an extra day half way cos they seem to be onto me but we usually get there by the end of the week or so.
Bit of fussing about, obviously easier with powder formula, but better than tipping undrunk formula down the sink.

Thanks! Didnt think of that. Will give it a go when I'm expressed some milk.
Not very good at expressing as only seem to get 3oz out at a time and then there's not enough for baby to drink. Cant express in the morning either as my daughter still wakes up 2 or 3 times a night for milk. grrrrrrr!!!

Hello everyone. my little baby aged of 5 months is taking only 500 ml to 600ml per day ( formula milk). Actually I started to winning her twice a day but she takes only a few spoons. Is this enough for her age?
Thanks for everyone
