    hi ladies

i have a really weird feeling i've posted this before but couldn't find the thread (so sorry if it's duplicated)

just wanted to know if anyone has found a sling that is particularly good for breastfeeding?
or if you've bought one and it's been bad for this purpose?

there seem so many different options on the market that i'm a bit confused

it doesn't have to fit hubby (he'll have a more traditional carrier) - i dont really like the idea of the ones that are a long piece of fabric that wraps you up loads of times coz i dont want to get hot (baby is due in June)
    so i'm thinking a one-shouldered pouch or ring-sling

    anyone have any recommendations?

    thx

    Hiya,

I've found the ella roo ring sling really good for feeding. Takes a bit of practise but it's sooo good. Can do it anywhere, cleaning the house, doing the shopping you name it!!! THere are some really good tutorial videos online too...

I love mine, wouldn't be without it!!! Enjoy

My sister actually gave mine to me, but I think she got it from littlepossums website. You can get them from ebay (a friend of mine has just bought one from there). I would say it's really really worth practising a lot. When my LO was 5 days old I tried to use it...but hadn't a clue, so stood in my lounge in floods of tears saying what a bad mum I was because I couldn't even use a sling. but the newborn positions for it are SOOO lovely and cosey, so worth the practise.
