My baby is 7 weeks old and this last week has been stiring at 2, 5 and 6am. I leave her to settle at 2am and then I feed her which tends to be at 3.20am but then she wakes again at 5 and 6. She took 2oz at 5am and 1oz at 6am. She was doing so well before then, sleeping through to 3.30am when I would feed her and then staying asleep until 7am. But now I don't know what's up with her as she doesn't seem to really be hungry at 5 and 6am. Does anyone have any tips on how to get her back on track? Thanks

I use grobags for harry and love them because it gives you more of an idea of what to put on them at a certain temperature, i was always paranoid about overheating Harry when he was a baby so brilliant for that they give you a little themometer too so you know what the temp is in their room.

hi sarah i'm agreeing with caroline and thinking feed her when she first wakes as she's at the stage for a growth spurt and also again she maybe cold, my son charlie would wake or be more unsettled if he was hotter or colder, we brought a thermometer called a gro-egg which changes colour with the temp of the room, which helped me decide whether to add or take off an extra layer, cause like charmaine i was paranoid about over heating him hope this helps, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Same here,I'd feed her when she first wakes. If you can get to them before they really wake up,they're sometimes easier to settle.Try and get her to take as much as possible of a feed so you get a longer break.
Again as the others said possibly it's the change in temperature, possibly wind.
Mine all liked to be wrapped ,not necessarily tightly, just a sheet around them as a sense of security when they go back into their cot. Also they had a muslin with them, preferably with your smell on,just ways of helping them learn to settle themself. My three month old still has a sheet and raggy to use this way. It's worked well with all of mine
7 weeks is still very young.Their feeding and sleeping patterns often vary.
I take the bottles with the measured water in upstairs with the formula to mix when ready. We have a bottle warmer up there,I have a dim lamp by the bed.I feed Merlin right there.Makes it as quick and easy as possible so we're all back to sleep
